Welcome back to our 2020 season with our return on Saturday 18 July 2020, although with quite a few changes that we all need to get used to.
The following is a guideline to this club day. Where advice needs to be updated, we will let those who have registered know asap before the event.
- Timetable and Event Program – Saturday 18 July
- 10yrs to 13yrs - 8:30am to 9:30am
- 5yrs to 9yrs - 10:00am to 11:00am
- 14yrs and Over - 11:30am to 12.30pm
Each age group will do three events and include a sprint, throw, and long jump.
Age as at 31 Dec 2020
- Everyone attending must pre-register via the REGISTER link including athletes and parent/carers.
- Athletes under 15yrs must have a parent/carer in attendance and be prepared to assist in event duties.
- Only one parent/carer per athlete to attend. Other family members should not attend if possible.
- No walk-in registration. If you have not preregistered using this registration link, you will not be allowed to attend.
- Want to participate but not a member? You must use the Membership Registration Link before completing this attendance register.
- EVENT REGISTRATION CLOSES THURSDAY 16 JULY 11:45pm
- A register of attendees will be forwarded to the facility operators as required by the state goverment.
- Everyone must follow all hygiene requirements
- Hand Sanitiser stations will be placed at all event areas. Everyone is to use these before play equipment is used.
- Cleaning spray and cloths will be at each event area. All equipment is to be sprayed and wiped before the next person uses it.
- At the conclusion of the event, all equipment is to be sprayed and wiped ready for the next group. This includes measure spikes, measure tapes, rakes etc.
- Bring your own water bottle filled and bring your own sunscreen
- Everyone must practice Social Distancing
- Enter and leave the facility via the designated entry and exit points.
- Enter the field of play via the gates located at the finish line
- Exit the field of play via the gate located near the start line
- While on the field of play, and waiting for events, keep 1.5mtrs apart
- Where possible keep a lane spare between athletes in sprint races though this is not being enforced.
- Do Not
- Attend if the athlete and/or attending parent or carer, currently or in the past 14 days, experienced any cold, flu or COVID 19 symptoms? (Fever, coughing, sore throat and/or shortness of breath).
- Attend if the athlete and/or attending parent/carer, in the past 14 days has been in contact with anyone known or suspected of having COVID 19?
- Do
- Arrive on time and ready to begin.
- Warm up outside the facility in a safe place.
- Assist where you can in helping run a great club day for all
- Be patient while we all learn and introduce changes to our club events.
- Be thankful to club volunteers.
- Show support and encouragement to our members and families.
