NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Mackay Athletics Club Inc. will hold its Annual General Meeting on Saturday 28th October 2023 commencing at 11.30am at the MACKAY AQUATIC & RECREATION COMPLEX (MACKAY ARC) – ATHLETICS MEETING ROOM – 193 BOUNDARY ROAD, ORRALEA.
Sandwiches / finger food and refreshments will be provided, and we invite all club members and families along.
Attending the meeting does not mean you need to take a position on the committee.
BUSINESS
- To receive and present the associations audited financial statement for the year ended 30th September 2023
- To receive the Club Presidents Report for 2023
- To elect the Club Management Committee for 2024
- General Business
2023 COMMITTEE POSITIONS
All positions become vacant at the 2023 AGM and all parents/carers of 2023 members may nominate for a position on the committee. All positions are voluntary.
A member may hold more than one position however the President, Secretary and Treasurer must be different people. Generally, the committee meets once a month in season or when required out of season.
Nominations and/or general business items are to be received to the secretary no later than Friday 28th October 2023. Nominations can be taken from the floor during the AGM if no written nomination is received. If you are unable to attend the AGM and would like to nominate for a position, please email us back with the position.
