What is a Team Challenge?  The NMA Team Challenge is a series of modified events where athletes Pair up to form teams of 2 and compete in a series of Track and Field events. Teams in a field event compete individually, however their best result is combined with their teammates to obtain a cumulative best result.

North Mackay Athletics invites everyone to Mackay’s annual Team Challenge event!! The event is open to all athletes whether you are a member of an athletics club or not. The events will include age groups from Under 6’s (5yrs of age as of Dec 31st 2022) through to Under 18’s.

Nominations must be submitted online and fees are $25 per athlete for athletes competing in U9s and below and $30 per athlete for U10s and above. Please note that any team that consists of an athlete that is not registered with LAQ or ANQ, will incur a once off $10 administration fee. It doesn’t matter if you are registering 1 or 2 non-registered athletes, you will need to pay the $10 once off administration fee. Simply get your group of 2 organised and register online. If you’re struggling to get a team together, nominate your interest online and we will attempt to find you a team.
