The Mackay Athletics Club is pleased to bring to the
Mackay and North Queensland region the
Mackay Athletics Club 2023/2024 Summer Series.
The series purpose is to provide competitions for existing athletes, and to assist some with their preparations for the Athletics Australia Summer season, while also promoting the sport to those interested during the quiet period in North Queensland.
Athletics North Queensland 23/24 Summer Series Cup
In an exciting development, the 23-24 Summer Series proudly presents the 23/24 Summer Series Cup. This new competition adds an extra layer of competition and prestige to the series. How the Cup Works: Athletes will earn points based on their performance across the series' multiple events, with the aim of securing the top spot.
Here's how it operates:
● Athletes competing in the series accumulate points based on their performance.
● Clubs participating in the series will send their meet manager results to ANQ after each event.
● ANQ, as the central authority, will calculate the cumulative points throughout the series.
● The athlete with the highest points at the end of the series will be awarded the esteemed 23/24 Summer Series Cup.
