Welcome to Mackay Athletics Club
The Mackay Athletics Club Inc. is an association providing participation in the sport of track & field. We aim to provide athletes of all ages with the opportunity to grow and develop through the sport of athletics. The club has its home base from the athletics facilities at Mackay Aquatic & Recreation Complex (MARC).
The club provides members with well organised club events and carnivals, qualified coaching access and opportunities for athlete and volunteer development. We also provide other services to other clubs and schools throughout Mackay and regional districts.

FAQ 2026 Membership 2026 Event Calendar
North Mackay Athletics invites all ANQ/LAQ members from Mackay, Sarina, Moranbah and the Whitsundays to our FREE Interclub meet. Athletes are strongly encouraged to pre-register before 5pm Saturday 20th June, to ensure a smooth start on Sunday.

Registrations are now open to Under 6 through to Under 18's. Entry is $30 per person.
The NMA Pentathlon consist of 5 events per age group (2 track and 3 field events), where athletes earn points for each event and the 3 athletes with the highest score at the end of the day will be awarded a medal.

This is our club's annual athletics carnival, and attracts athletes from across all of North Queensland, and beyond.
